The annual tradition of taking Devonshire cream tea in one of the country’s most renowned castles resumes in the month ahead when guests will have a chance to enjoy afternoon tea and tour award-winning gardens.

Macroom Flower & Garden Club presents a spring gardening talk by Mary Cronin (BSc. Hort.) from Sweet Magnolia Garden Centre, Lissarda on Thursday March 12 at 8pm in Coolcower House. 

Enjoying afternoon tea served by a bona fide butler, followed by a tour of one of the country’s most renowned castle gardens, isn’t exactly a traditional St Patrick’s Day celebration but it is likely to be popular in Lismore, Co Waterford.
