Cork-based property developer Michael O’Flynn will gain control of around 500 acres of developmental site assets in Ireland and the UK as part of the resolution of his long-running legal dispute with US private equity firm Blackstone Capital.

THE High Court has frozen the assets of and suspended a solicitor whom it is alleged has €900,000 missing from his firms’ client accounts.

EXPERTS said the Haymarket car bomb would have created a devastating explosion on the scale of those seen in Baghdad and Israel.

Varying reports are emerging of the size of the explosive device found in a car in central London this morning. The device has since been made safe.
