Continuing our reports on the Irish contenders for the Great Taste 2016 awards.

Seven products from the Republic of Ireland, and an incredible 18 from Northern Ireland, were awarded the coveted 2014 three gold stars, in the largest-ever Great Taste Awards.

Hopes of having the tastiest food in the UK have strengthened for eight Irish companies, after 12 of their products were named in the 2013 Great Taste award top 50.
