Supermac's has won its long running case against McDonald's to have the use of the "Big Mac" trademark cancelled throughout Europe.

Having previously not conceded a goal in championship football since April, Kilmacud Crokes leaked three at Parnell Park and came mightily closed to being dumped out of the AIB Leinster club SFC.

McDonald’s has claimed that fast-food rival Supermac’s has failed to submit any convincing arguments that the two brands would not cause confusion amongst the public in the EU.

The David and Goliath brand war between Supermac’s and McDonald’s is set to rumble onto into next year.
