A jury hearing the trial of a Dublin man accused of murder has begun hearing evidence from a forensic road accident investigator attached to the traffic unit of Garda National Headquarters.

A JURY at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin has heard how a forensic scientist found no evidence of DNA from murder accused Brian Kearney on a vacuum cleaner flex found near the body of his wife, Siobhán.

The night before Siobhan Kearney was found dead in her home she emailed her brother’s partner in Italy ending her letter by asking her to, “say a prayer for me”, a court has heard.
