FLUORIDE toothpaste should never be used on children under two years of age, a dental expert has warned.

ELEVEN international scientists have come together to slate the Government-appointed Fluoridation Forum’s recommendation that fluoride continue to be added to public water supplies.

FLUORIDATION of some public water supplies may have to stop until plants and technology are upgraded to properly control the amounts of fluoride added.

The Government is today expected to publish the report from the Fluoridation Forum set up to examine the merits of fluoridating public water supplies.

ANTI-FLUORIDATION campaigners have reacted with disappointment to suggestions that the Minister for Health’s review committee will recommend that public water supplies continue to be dosed with fluoride.
