GOVERNMENT decisions and tax policies that fuelled the boom and contributed to the financial crisis will not be examined as part of the banking inquiry.

Representatives of a wide range of lending institutions, business organisations and regulatory bodies will appear at tomorrow’s meeting of the Oireachtas Committee on Enterprise, Trade and Employment.
