Insurance firm FBD Holdings is confident of delivering earnings per share of between 155 cents and 165 cents per share, a 10% rise on its previous guidance, the firm has said in its interim management statement.

Insurance company FBD posted a solid performance over the first six months of 2012, which included a marginal increase in pre-tax profit and a rise in market share.

INSURANCE group FBD has said that it has maintained a solid trading performance during the second half of the year – including showing a profit, to date – despite challenging market conditions.
