TALK TALK gave their 575 employees in Waterford just 30 days notice that all jobs will be lost, but company bosses may have planned to quit Waterford for more than two years, it has emerged.

The EU Commissioner for Employment is to investigate the planned closure of the TalkTalk call centre in Waterford, with the loss 575 jobs.

The EU Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities was visiting Limerick today for meetings with local community representatives involved in the Moyross Regeneration project and with workers made redundant from the Dell plant.
