The father of a teenager beaten to death in an un-provoked attack, has written to Alan Shatter begging him to help get justice for his murdered son.

A 24-year old Limerick man, who associated with the notorious Dundon-McCarthy criminal gang in the city, has been jailed for life for the murder of businessman and father of two Roy Collins last year.

IT is believed Limerick businessman Roy Collins was able to give vital information on his assailants as he lay dying to a detective who rushed to his aid.
