Firefighters in Co Louth are tackling a major blaze at a pub in Omeath this morning.

A fire crew in Co Louth has escaped injury after a man charged at them with a sword in the early hours of this morning.

FIREFIGHTERS from north and south of the Border were called to the scene of a blaze yesterday at the farm of Thomas ‘Slab’ Murphy, an alleged IRA kingpin.
