The UN's Atomic Agency is visiting Japan's Fukushima nuclear power station to assess the scale of the leaks which have plagued the site in recent months.

One of Japan’s crippled nuclear reactors still has fatally high radiation levels and hardly any water to cool it, according to an internal examination tthat renews doubts about the plant’s stability.

The fuel rods in one of Japan’s damaged nuclear reactors have been temporarily fully exposed from their coolant, raising the risk of overheating and a meltdown.
