A Cork drug dealer serving a 16-year sentence for the biggest seizure of ecstasy in the State has died from a suspected overdose in prison.

ONE of the country's biggest drug dealers has died of a suspected heart attack. However, the authorities are awaiting toxicology results to establish if it might have been sparked by an overdose.

A driver of a van loaded with almost E5m worth of ecstasy tablets destined for the Cork drugs market was sentenced to 24 years in prison this evening.
