GARDAÍ in Co Clare are investigating the cause of a fire which destroyed a large wing of an old convent in the early hours of yesterday morning.

A 74-YEAR-OLD priest in the diocese of Cloyne in Co Cork has been charged with three counts of gross indecency against a teenage boy.
