Cold-case murder trial hears man cursed at woman hours before strangled body found in burning home

A boy who was taken out of the family home after being allegedly raped by his father and forced to have sex with his mother was further sexually abused while under foster care, a trial has heard.

A Carlow man accused of sexually abusing his two nieces and their neighbour as children told gardai the allegations were “absolute lies”.
