PAT Brosnan, in his column entitled ‘Coalition of Chancers Evading Responsibilities’ (Irish Examiner, Nov. 22), says: “The PDs could possibly get off on the grounds of diminished responsibility. Alzheimers presumably is a condition which can reduce or void culpability.”
