In a dramatic about turn last night, the Irish Coursing Club (ICC) withdrew it’s threat to move the Irish Cup blue riband fixture from Co. Limerick, its traditional home for over 100 years.

Peace talks are due to take place in Clonmel tomorrow between the Irish Coursing Club (ICC) and County Limerick Coursing Club (CLCC) over the future running of the Irish Cup meeting, the traditional blue riband of the sport.

The Irish Coursing Club have received a ‘hands off’ warning over a decision taken by its executive to switch the Irish Cup meeting from its historical home in Co Limerick.
