Four suspects have been reportedly identified by police in Mauritius investigating the murder of Michaela McAreavey in a hotel there in 2011.

Speculation is mounting in Mauritius that a former Legends Hotel employee will be arrested in the coming days in relation to the murder of Michaela McAreavey.

The new police team appointed to investigate the murder of Michaela Mc-Areavey are next week expected to question the manager and former staff of the hotel where she died.

The newspaper editor who faces a year in prison for publishing photographs of Michaela McAreavey’s body collapsed due to “hysteria” before his case could be brought before the courts yesterday.

Police in Mauritius are preparing to press charges against the newspaper which published graphic images of Michaela McAreavey’s body for either “sedition or outrage against public morality”.
