Killarney jarveys, who have had major rows with the authorities in recent years, are fully supporting colleagues fighting a ban on horsedrawn carriages in New York.

A CALL for an annual inspection of horse-drawn carriages and harness used by Killarney jarveys has been rejected by the local town council.

A PARTNERSHIP has been formed to improve the image of Killarney’s jarvey trade and the service it provides to tourists.
