Damien Sheridan is still the man with the most powerful boot in Gaelic football.

Meath senior footballer Brian Sheridan was this afternoon crowned All-Ireland Kick Fada champion following a well-contested event at the Bray Emmets GAA club.

A spectacular kick of 70 metres earned Armagh goalkeeper Paul Hearty the MBNA Kick Fada title for 2008, following a today's thrilling contest at the Bray Emmets GAA Club.

John Brennan from Carlow fought off stiff competition to be crowned the MBNA Kick Fada All Ireland champion for 2007 earlier this afternoon at Bray Emmets GAA Club with a winning kick of 67 metres.
