All racing in Britain will be suspended from Wednesday until the end of April due to the outbreak of coronavirus, the British Horseracing Authority has announced.

There will be no immediate changes to new whip rules but the situation will be under review, with a report expected by "no later than the end of the week", the British Horseracing Authority said in a statement this evening.
