ONE of the world’s biggest pharmaceutical firms is to close a medical plant in Sligo which it took control of just three and a half months ago.

Eighty jobs are to go at manufacturing company Beru in Tralee in Co Kerry.

UP to 40 jobs will be lost in a factory in Tralee, Co Kerry, with the closure of two production lines, it has emerged.
