Almost 300 new homes and a neighbourhood centre near Carrigaline in south Cork have been proposed in a recent planning application.

PLANNING officials have granted permission for the redevelopment of one of Co Cork’s best known hotels and received hundreds more applications for housing developments, one of which proposes to build more than 500 homes in Carrigaline.
