FINANCE Ireland, the holding company of Shared Home Investment Plan, has reported pre-tax losses of just over €800,000 for the first six months of this year.

Shared Home Investment Plan (SHIP) holding company Ardent has announced increased losses of €125,527 for the six months to the end of June, up from €92,402 for the same period last year.

Equity release products provider Ardent began trading today on IEX, the Irish Stock Exchange’s specialist market for small to mid-sized companies.

Mortgage provider SHIP is to be listed on the AIM market in London by means of a reverse takeover of the AIM-listed Ardent group.

The Queen is expected to increase her financial support for the Earl and Countess of Wessex following their decision to give up their businesses.
