In a landmark decision, Israel’s Supreme Court ruled today that relatives of Palestinian terrorism suspects from the West Bank can be expelled to the Gaza Strip, but only if they are proven to pose a security threat.

THE Palestinian Cabinet yesterday accepted Israel’s proposal to begin withdrawing troops from some parts of the West Bank and Gaza Strip in exchange for security guarantees.

Two Palestinian gunmen, including a local militia leader suspected of sending two suicide bombers to Israel last month, were killed early today in what witnesses said was an Israeli helicopter attack.
