A Ukrainian court today suspended the results of this month’s presidential election following an appeal by loser Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

A THAI court dropped charges of insurrection yesterday against the main leaders of a protest movement bidding to topple the government, two days after the worst street unrest in Bangkok for 16 years.

The Constitutional Court today annulled Thailand’s April 2 parliamentary election and ordered fresh polls in a bid to end the country’s months-long political crisis, a court official said.
