Consumers have been warned to be wary of a scam where cars are being sold at rock-bottom prices falsely claiming to have NCT and/or six months motor tax.

ALMOST one in five cars imported from Britain was clocked and dodgy dealers are using this country as a dumping ground for mileage altered and written-off vehicles, according to an AA survey.
