The British and Irish Governments must work together to resolve a long-running dispute over Lough Foyle, Ireland's Foreign Affairs Minister has said.

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern said there is great scope for cross-border cooperation on a range of projects as he arrived at today's North-South council meeting.

The Democratic Unionist Party is set to participate in its first-ever North-South Ministerial Council meeting later today.
