Masked Singer winner Natalie Imbruglia has said the possible axing of Australian soap Neighbours would be “devastating”. Imbruglia, 47, is no stranger to Ramsay Street, having starred in Neighbours for two years before launching her singing career.

M People star Heather Small feared she would be mistaken for a footballer after disguising her distinctive voice while performing on The Masked Singer.

Former Sex Pistols frontman Johnny Rotten has been unveiled as a contestant on the US version of The Masked Singer. Rotten, whose real name is John Lydon, performed behind a jester mask on the popular reality series.

Martine McCutcheon has said it was “vital” she adopted an American accent on The Masked Singer because her own east London voice would give her away.
