London City Airport will be open as normal on Tuesday after dozens of flights were cancelled following the discovery of an unexploded Second World War bomb.

Stansted Airport reopened its runway shortly after 11am and staff said they were working to clear a backlog of flights.

Luton Airport have announced that all flights had been suspended until at least 2pm when a further decision would be made.

A number of flights between Ireland and Britain have been cancelled this morning as a result of heavy overnight snowfall across the UK.

Luton Airport and Stansted Airports have been closed because of the bad weather in the areas surrounding London.
