Despite a mammoth 25-point win tonight over Westmeath, Dublin are out of the minor championship.

Wicklow delivered the shock result of the round in last night’s series of games in the Leinster MFC, as goals from Kevin Quinn and Eoin Darcy gave them a 2-6 to 0-8 win over Dublin at Parnell Park.

Kildare 2-15 Longford 1-9: Kildare collected their second Leinster minor title in three years with a comfortable nine-point victory over Longford.

Kildare 3-16 Dublin 3-13: A devastating scoring blitz before half-time paved the way for Kildare’s victory over Paddy Christie’s Dublin in yesterday’s Electric Ireland Leinster minor football semi-final at Croke Park.
