Kerry Co Council has said that the landslide which hit the north of the county at the weekend was the worst in 30 years.

State fisheries experts launched an investigation today after thousands of fish were killed in a mudslide which also cut off roads and threatened water supplies.

Tens of thousands of homes in north Kerry have been cut off from their water supply.
