Some food for thought ahead of the Bank Holiday Weekend.

Jurys Inn, which owns five hotels in Ireland and 31 in Britain, looks set to be bought for around €900m by Swedish hotels group Pandox.

Jurys Inn is to add eight hotels to its portfolio of properties and invest over €50m refurbishing them, its parent company has confirmed.
