A man who is alleged to have been involved in a "high speed" pursuit that concluded with the deployment of a stinger device near the M1 Motorway in January, has been refused bail by the High Court during a busy court listing.

Two men, arrested after a high-speed pursuit during which a garda was injured, have been remanded in custody after being charged with theft and a range of road traffic offences.
