Developer Harry Crosbie has received another setback in his hotel building plans for the capital.

Dublin City Council has refused planning permission to businessman, Harry Crosbie for a luxury boutique hotel for Hanover Quay in the city over a row concerning the public gaining free access to the waterfront at his planned hotel.

Harry Crosbie took no salary for nearly three years from his last remaining business, the Vicar Street music venue in Dublin, but did draw €1.7m from it to pay for his living and trading expenses, the Commercial Court has heard.
