Garry Ringrose looks set to miss the first two games of the Six Nations.

Garry Ringrose hasn’t looked back since making his Irish debut last November and tomorrow (6.40am, Eir Sport) he will chalk up his 11th appearance in a row for the national side.

He’ll be 22 no more than a week when the whistle sounds in Edinburgh tomorrow on his first Six Nations appearance, but the wonder isn’t how Garry Ringrose has come to this so early but why it has taken quite so long.

Following a five-day turnaround from their morale-boosting Guinness Pro12 victory over Munster at Thomond Park, head coach Leo Cullen has made wholesale changes to his starting line-up for Leinster’s latest interprovincial clash with Connacht at the RDS this evening (5pm kick-off).
