The Anglican Church of Canada has voted against same-sex marriages. The loss was by the thinnest margin, after a week of heated debate.

Eric Conway’s (October 16) letter of support for Fr Joseph Okere’s proclamation of Catholic teaching on ‘same sex marriage’ is spot on. I, too, was amazed that any bishop would want to apologise for one his priests proclaiming Catholic teaching.
