Part of Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport was evacuated today after workers unearthed a suspected Second World War bomb near its main terminal building.

Authorities today worked to disarm a Second World War bomb in the Berlin suburb of Potsdam, evacuating 12,000 people and closing the local train station.
