EIRCOM, travel website GoHop.ie and the Royal College of Surgeons were among the winners at the annual ICT Excellence Awards last night.

Communications Minister Dermot Ahern said today there was an upswing in business in the information and communications technology sector (ICT).

Rapid Technology posted a 27% slip in revenues yesterday to 1.24 million for the six months to end of December.

The ICT Expo which is taking place at the RDS this week, announced the winners of its inaugural ICT Excellence Awards.
