Relatives of Troubles’ victims have expressed outrage at a proposal by the North’s attorney general to end prosecutions in conflict related cases.

A new chapter of partnership and friendship has been opened between Ireland and Britain, the Irish President said.

There is “everything to play for” in talks beginning tomorrow to try to resurrect the Northern Ireland peace process, Secretary of State Paul Murphy said today.
