One of the most promising distance runners in the country, Kevin Mulcaire, was the star of the Aviva/Munster Schools’ Track and Field Championships at Cork IT on Saturday.

Exceptional 800m running proved the highlight of the first day’s South Munster Schools’ Track & Field which took place in sunny conditions at Cork IT track.

CLAIRE BRADY (Celbridge) will be back in action on Irish soil on Sunday when she lines up for the 100m at the Woodies DIY AAI Games, which return to Castleisland after a 10-year absence. The Games will include senior relays as well as Paralympic events and a Masters 3km team event.
