UNIFORMS and suits will be swapped for denims in schools and businesses next month to help tackle child poverty.

The Irish Youth Foundation is extending its Denim Day fundraiser over a 10-day period, from April 20 to April 29.

YOUNG and old alike donned denim yesterday to raise €150,000 for disadvantaged young people across Ireland.
