THE Aidan O’Brien-trained newcomer Cape Blanco and Ger Lyons’ Baglioni proved the stars of last night’s action at Fairyhouse, fighting out the finish of the featured Blanchardstown 2-Y-0 Race, with victory going to the Ballydoyle colt.

IF ever there was a flat trainer in this country going places it’s Ger Lyons and he may well supply the answer to the opening two contests at Fairyhouse tonight.

WILLIE MULLINS recorded his 18th bumper victory since November 1 when Alexander Seaview made a successful debut in the finale at Fairyhouse yesterday.
