CURRAGH trainer Paul Deegan took the training honours in Wexford last night, registering a fine double with Beauty Express in the Gorey Race and following-up with Belleau in the claimer.

TWO particularly tricky cards at Down Royal and Wexford tonight will test the skills of punters, but one who is fancied to oblige is Fountain Of Honour in the last up north, the Guinness EBF Maiden for fillies.

PAT Smullen proved himself in top form ahead of the Galway Festival when recording a double in the opening races on last night’s card at Wexford where Philip Rothwell took the training honours thanks to the victories of Eyeffess and Mount Welcome.

HONORIA, with her sights considerably lowered, can land the Wexford Hire Maiden at Wexford this evening.
