Zimbabwe’s main opposition party said the recounting of ballots was deeply flawed.

Zimbabwe officials began recounting ballots for a couple of dozen legislative seats today, an exercise which could overturn the opposition’s landmark victory.

Zimbabwe will begin a recount of election votes in 23 constituencies today - most won by opposition candidates – amid fears of rigging by President Robert Mugabe.
