A Central Bank whistleblower was pressurised to “remove, omit and delete” critical findings from a draft internal audit report, the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has heard this morning.

It is understood the latest draft of the Banking Inquiry report does not contain any recommendations at all.

One of the members of the Banking Inquiry says he is confident that a draft report will be ready by Thursday's deadline.
