"My body was completely broken...but I didn’t realise I would never see him again."

A drunk driver who killed a four-year-old boy in a head-on collision in Co. Laois has been jailed for seven-and-a-half years.

The parents of a four-year-old boy who was killed after a drunk driver collided with their car has told a sentence hearing that the family is "paralysed with grief and in the depths of despair".
