Latest: A man shot in the neck in a street full of families and older people has died, police in the North have said.

A petrol bomb was thrown at a police vehicle in Carrickfergus early this morning as officers attended a road accident in the Castlemara Drive area.

PSNI officers investigating a road traffic collision in Co Antrim on Saturday, in which a seven-year-old boy died, have renewed their appeal for information.
