GAA president Aogán Ó Fearghail has called on Cork supporters to police themselves in relation to the appearance of the Confederate flag at matches.

The GAA is in line to vote next year on adding a “B” competition to the All-Ireland senior football championship, president Aogán Ó Fearghail has indicated.

When pushed on it afterwards, Aogán Ó Fearghail insisted he was referring to himself more than anybody else, writes John Fogarty.
