HUNDREDS of children escaped the terror of a triple shooting yesterday morning because a charity event curtailed their usual weekly football gathering at their local park.

Gardaí from Tallaght have released the 20-year-old man they were questioning following the seizure of €20,000 of cocaine and cannabis resin last night.
